Cookies & website data
What this page covers
This page explains the features on this website. Read the Privacy Notice for Cloudfusion’s wider handling of personal information and the Terms and Conditions for services. Account, billing and payment steps take place in the client portal.
Your enquiry
Your choices build a brief in your browser. Closing and reopening the enquiry on the same page keeps those choices. The brief is sent to Cloudfusion only when you choose to submit it, or when you send a prepared draft from your email app.
We ask for your name, email address and business or project name so we can understand and respond to your request. The brief may include your selected services, requirements, budget, timing, current systems and any notes you choose to add. Optional fields are marked. If you choose not to provide the required details, you can call us instead.
When the enquiry service is connected, it keeps a private record of your enquiry and uses an email delivery provider to notify Cloudfusion. The delivery notice explains whether an enquiry can be sent, saved for a preview test, or prepared in your email app. A preview save does not send an email.
Leave passwords, access codes, payment details and sensitive personal records out of the enquiry. If access is needed for a project or migration, we will arrange it separately.
Domain checks and checkout
A domain name you choose to check is sent to the Cloudfusion client portal, either through the website’s availability service when connected or when you open the portal to check it there. A domain can contain personal information; only enter a name you intend to check.
When you continue to the client portal, your selected domain, registration or existing-domain choice and hosting package can carry across. Your enquiry notes and contact details are not added to the checkout link. The portal then collects the information needed for your account and order. Review the order, recurring charges, applicable terms and final total there before buying.
If you leave an enquiry to use the domain or hosting picker, a return draft can stay in this browser tab. It may include contact details you have already entered, along with your service choices, so you can return to your brief.
Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small records a website can send to your browser. Session storage is different: it keeps information within a browser tab so features can remember your choices as you move between pages.
| Feature | Information | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Sound & motion | Volume, sound and motion choices | Keep your preferences during this visit |
| Project browsing | Return page, scroll position and a short transition reference | Return to the work you were exploring |
| Domain & hosting picker | Domain name, domain choice and selected package | Keep your selection between pages |
| Return to an enquiry | Service choices, any entered contact details and brief context | Restore your brief after visiting the picker |
These records use tab session storage. Closing the tab normally ends that storage, although browsers can restore it when restoring a session. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data controls. The picker’s “Clear my selection” control clears its current selection; it does not erase a submitted enquiry or a client-portal account.
The current website build does not add advertising or analytics cookies. The client portal and other linked services can use their own cookies. Their notices and settings apply when you visit them. Browser cookie settings and session-storage settings are not always the same.
Website requests and other services
Loading a website sends technical information, including your IP address, to the server delivering it. Server and security logs may contain personal information. Links to client websites, external articles and other services take you to those services when you choose to open them.
Choosing to show or copy our email address does not submit an enquiry. Opening your email app prepares a draft; you decide whether to send it.
Privacy questions and your rights
You can ask about personal information Cloudfusion holds about you, request access or corrections, or ask for deletion where the information no longer needs to be retained. Cloudfusion may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing records. Some records may need to be kept for a lawful purpose; a deletion request does not automatically cancel an account or service.
