Our work with GoLegal began when its existing website had been hacked. We took over, cleaned it up and kept improving it as the publication grew. Years of development and SEO work led to a complete rebuild with a new look. GoLegal is still a Cloudfusion client.

GoLegal brings legal news, commentary and resources to South African readers. When we took over from its previous provider, the immediate task was to clean up a hacked website. Beyond that urgent work, the publication needed a website that could keep pace with its content, contributors and commercial needs.
We recovered the existing site and became the team GoLegal could turn to for improvements. Over the years, we added features and ran SEO campaigns. In 2025, we rebuilt the website from the ground up with a new design, carrying the publishing experience forward and refining the connections between articles, topics, authors and publisher profiles.

The rebuild was one chapter in a much longer relationship. Our work has followed what GoLegal needed at each stage.

The work continued through new features and refinements to publishing, profiles and enquiries as GoLegal’s needs evolved.
We rebuilt the website with a new look and worked through the details that connect article topics, related reading, authors and press offices.
Years of SEO campaigns form part of the relationship. GoLegal remains a client, with continuing help as the website needs attention or improvement.

Topic labels and related articles help readers move from one story to other coverage of the same subject.
Contributor and publisher profiles bring their information and articles together. The rebuild included refinements to author names, profile content and publisher pages.
Article and profile enquiry forms give readers a way to get in touch, with contact handling built around the relevant contributor or publisher.
The website brings news, announcements, events and careers into the publication’s wider offering.
Search campaigns supported the publication over many years. The relationship continues beyond the redesign, with ongoing website support.
A branded HTML email signature extended GoLegal’s presentation into day-to-day correspondence, alongside the continuing website work.
GoLegal moved from a compromised inherited website to an improved publishing platform and, eventually, a complete rebuild. Readers can explore articles, related topics and contributors, while the publication has a website shaped around its editorial and commercial work. Cloudfusion remains part of that story.
The relationship has covered urgent recovery, everyday improvements and a full redesign, rather than ending with a single launch.
Articles lead into relevant topics, related coverage, author profiles and publisher press offices, with enquiry options alongside the content.
GoLegal can continue working with the team that recovered, improved and rebuilt its website.
