Software and websites. From George.

How to use this resource

Cloudfusion is a software, website and business technology company based in George, South Africa. We have worked with businesses since 2006, from brand and website projects to custom applications, connected systems and continuing support.

Our address is 85 Davidson Road, George Central, George, 6530. Arrange an appointment before visiting. We also work with teams elsewhere in South Africa and internationally through online conversations and shared project reviews.

Choose the job you need done

For a new business website or online store, start with the people who will visit and what they need to do: understand the offer, make an enquiry, book or place an order. Our website design and development service explains the scope, platform choices and planning process.

If the business needs its own operational workflow, customer portal or app, explore custom software development. If the existing tools work well but people copy information between them, systems integration may be a better starting point.

For an existing website or application, bring the change you want to make. We can assess improvements to an existing system before assuming it needs replacement. Hosting, email and day-to-day technology requirements belong in the business technology discussion.

Look at the delivered work

A provider’s location is one part of the decision. The work should also match what you need. Our case studies distinguish the brief, Cloudfusion’s role, the delivered features and the technologies used.

  • Mark Gold: website design, brand artwork, customer materials and HTML email signatures.
  • Genio Roasters: a customer aftercare portal bringing maintenance guidance, diagnostics and training together.
  • ViaVia: a community travel app, its brand and website, from planning and prototypes into a connected product.
  • MTE Xpress: identity, website and business technology work, with a Shiplogic-to-Sage invoice integration.

These examples cover clients and projects in different locations. They demonstrate the work described in each case; they are not a claim that every client is based in George.

Compare proposals on the same basis

Ask what the first release includes, what is excluded and who supplies content, access and review decisions. Separate one-off development from hosting, subscriptions, renewals and support. A lower headline price may cover a different scope.

Confirm ownership of the domain, accounts, content and agreed deliverables. Discuss data export, maintenance, backups and the handover. You should understand how the business will operate the result after launch.

Prepare for a useful first conversation

Bring your current website or system, the task you want to improve, who will use it and any fixed deadlines or constraints. A finished technical specification is not required. Use safe examples and keep customer records and passwords out of an initial brief.

For a connection between systems, our planning worksheet helps organise the handover and recovery questions. For a website or app, select a relevant case and note which parts resemble what you want to build.

Check independent client feedback

Read the client reviews and follow their links to the original Google or Clutch review. A review describes that client’s experience and scope; it does not guarantee the same result for a different project.

Existing clients are welcome to share an honest review of their own experience, whether positive or critical. We do not offer rewards or require a particular rating.

Answer a few questions, then check your details before sending. We’ll review what you need and get in touch to discuss the scope, budget and next step. Sending an enquiry does not commit you to a project.
